The Crawford Medal awardees for 2023 were announced at the closure of the two-day 2nd Annual Crawford Festival, which took place at the RPSL on 27 and 28 June.
- Crawford Medal winner: Engelbrecht, Lars, Postal Stationery of Denmark: The bi-coloured issue 1871-1905 (2 volumes)
- Crawford Medal runners-up: Barreiros, Luis & Barreiros, Eduardo, Portuguese India: Postal History and the First Issues from the “Natives” to 1900
