South Africa and the Empire Air Mail Scheme

The Empire Air Mail Scheme was introduced 1937 for mail carried between England and South Africa.  This exhibit shows items from this flight and up to the end of 1937, illustrating some of the complications caused when such a revolutionary scheme was introduced.
