Nicola Davies, Head of Collections at the Royal Philatelic Society London, introduces us to the oldest philatelic society in the world and its magnificent premises. The seven-storey building on 15 Abchurch Lane was built in 1915 and has been the new location of the Royal since 2019 when the Society celebrated its 150th anniversary.
The tour includes the Lounge, the Library in the upper basement, the rolling stacks in the lower basement where the archives and rare books are kept and much more.
Another outstanding video by Exploring Stamps and Graham Beck, which should not be missed (13 min.): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1UvHw_DP7o
